Carlos, Just wanted to drop you a line to say hello and to offer congratulations on your recent achievement of being chosen as " International Mr. Gay " in Los Angeles last month. I was browsing through some websites and ran across a picture and thought to myself: "I know that person" and sure enough, it was a picture of you as the winner of the contest. They couldn't have chosen a more deserving person. One that represents the ideals of leadership, education, community service all wrapped up in a gorgeous package.
I have bragged to friends about how lucky I was to have had such a great guy give me a night-life tour of Buenos Aires. Now I can add: "Oh, by the way, he's International Mr. Gay" to really make them jealous. I would say good luck with your life, but it seems to already be blessed. They will provide information and services that most US travel agencies won't. Every request was fulfilled, and every question answered. They provided me with a charming apartment in a nice neighborhood at half the price of a hotel room. Conveniently located in a doorman building with several elevators, a washer and dryer in the basement, and roof access for your sunbathing needs. Buenos Aires is a European style city with a very gay-friendly vibe. And of course, the best steak and dulce de leche. I will be returning soon. Ricardo

I was hoping to run into you on the parties, but we only saw you out of the taxi. You were talking to some guys on the street in Palermo on Sunday afternoon.

Good Morning Carlos, I wanted to thank you for arranging our tours and show in Buenos Aires. Bert and I really enjoyed ourselves there. What a beautiful and friendly city! I want to thank our guide that did the City Tour (we have forgotten his name), but he did a great job showing us around the city. The Eva Person tour was wonderful as well, though we did not make it to the cemetery where Eva rests (realized afterward, we did not get there). And the Tango Show was fantastic. We also had a good time in Colonia del Sacramento despite the cloudy weather.
For your information, we were pleased with our stay at Claridge Hotel for their service, amenities, and location. For us, this was an ideal location. Wishing you the best. Thanks again. Erik and Bert

Hi Carlos! How are you? I'm already in São Paulo, on my way home...
Iguazu Falls was fantastic!!! I meet some guys there, at the hotel, and it was even more pleasurable. The services were very nice. Everything very well organized, people very professional and nice. The top of the tryp for me was the boat in the falls!!!! I just loved it!!!
With LAN (very nice plains and crew) i had a small probleme comming back to BsAs... Don't know why but my reserve was canceled by "no show". I explained everything that happened and they had resolve the situation.
Something to FORGET are Aerolineas Argentinas!!! They are really bad!!!! The plains are old, crew not nice and when i tryed to come back to São Paulo they was on stryke. Two thousand people in the airport and we could not see any one, but anyone from Aerolineas! No information, no nothing. In the check-in area, on the office there was no body to give the face. It was really bad! I was in the Aerolineas office one day before asking how was the flights, and they told me that everything was ok... can you believe it?
I alreaddy sended an email to all my collegues saying "never use Aerolineas"!!! At the end i had to buy a ticket with LAN, and everything was ok...
I did like to work with you. You was very professional. You are an agency to advice to other people! Thanks guy. See you, Luís Conceição P.S. I had a very nice time in Buenos Aires...

We would like to thank you for the various tours that you arranged and accompanied us on during our recent stay in Buenos Aires, it made all the difference to our holiday. Needless to say Doug did buy some (many) things on the last day – me I never found the tile ! I wish you luck in LA at the contest – although having looked at the competition I would say that you are the most handsome – by a long way. Next time you are in London you would be most welcome to stay at our house, or use the flat in Brighton.

HI Carlos, Ron here (the shorter one) I have just checked Mr Gay International to see how you did in the competition. We are SO happy that you have won. It is s huge responsibility and you will do a wonderful hob ensuring that social issues are addressed. You know that I work for the International Red Cross and that issues of poverty, economic parity and access to services is central to what we try to achieve. We are at the end of our holiday now. We are in Sydney. Every day Rick and I thank you for your wisdom setting up our tour program. For eg. 1 day to explore wonderful Colonia del Sacramento and 3 days in Punta del Este etc. The timing has been perfect as well as the hotel locations (eg. Florianopolis).
We wish you well (as our travel planner) as well as in your new role of Ambassador for gay people.
You are always welcome to visit us in Perth, Western Australia.
