Not as spacious as others but very comfortable and with nice views. The bathroom has the sink outside the shower area. The hotel offers free WiFi connection.

Very professional, welcoming and attentive. They stand out from the other hotels in El Calafate.

Located only 5 blocks from the main downtown avenue. This is a trade between location and view, compared to other hotels in El Calafate.

Premium | The unique identity of this hotel lies in its contemporary focus towards Patagonian elements, designed with superior furnishings of the finest material: incense timbers, plasters made with native sands, stones and fabrics fused together with current materials such as resin, polyester, colored fibers and the veneers of refurbished woods. For the hotel’s interior, they looked to implement originality fused with elements that described a city near the end of the world. For this reason, they summoned important painters, sculptors, and designer to participate in the work. Diverse areas of the hotel complement one another with a shared mystical vision of the eternal traveler seeking new adventures. Thus, the hotel Esplendor El Calafate takes on a new dimension, with a unique texture both authentic and special.

Esplendor El Calafate comes to life in the heart of Argentina’s Patagonia. It is the leading boutique hotel of the region; a source of avant-garde design in a zone that once yearned for such an exclusive and beautiful property.

The studio of Plan Arquitectura (Mauro Bernardini, Cecilia Timossi) was in charge of the Architecture and Interior Design Project of Esplendor El Calafate. For the hotel’s interior, Plan Arquitectura looked to implement originality fused with elements that described a city near the end of the world. For this reason, the studio summoned important painters, sculptors, and designer to participate in the work. Diverse areas of the hotel complement one another with a shared mystical vision of the eternal traveler seeking new adventures. Thus, the hotel Esplendor El Calafate takes on a new dimension, with a unique texture both authentic and special.
Suites: unforgettable views of Lake Argentino, all of which are further enjoyed from spacious Suites with king-size beds, living rooms, integrated baths, and an entertainment center composed of a 29” TV, audio equipment and DVD player.
Furthermore, the rooms offer: telephone, mini-bar, security safe, complete bathroom kit and hairdryer. The harmonious design converts each Suite into a living space ideal for relaxation, allowing you to appreciate the surrounding landscape to the fullest extent.
Concept Rooms: the exquisite design of each Concept room was created to adapt to the local harmony of Patagonia, thus utilizing hanging lamps of woven antlers, tables made of quebracho wood, and an armchair intended just for relaxation.
Concept rooms offer queen-size beds, telephone, mini-bar, security safe, cable television, and a bathroom kit complete with hairdryer.
The restaurant of Esplendor El Calafate surprises guests with its creative gourmet selection, resulting from the combination of various Patagonian flavors, taking advantage of all color tones, meats and fruits.
The bar, with both traditional and signature drinks, is situated in a classic and pleasant wing of the hotel, perfect for enjoying the early evenings or extensive days of the south.
Its design accompanies the gastronomical selection. Warmth and distinction convert this space into a unique and prestigious dining option close to the glacier fields.
