Regular Tour ♥ My Favorite | FULL DAY | El Chalten. located 3 hours by regular bus from the city of El Calafate. This is an option that you may consider as a day tour or even better if you have the time, and overnight destination. At the small town of El Chalten, you will find a main road that will lead you to the beginning of the trails of the National Park. An experience that will transport you into a fairy tail, where landscape seems like painted by hand, where you can feel the humidity of the forest and the smell of the native vegetation. A true encounter with nature, that should not take your for surprise. Pumas, among other local animals will come to you at the least expected moment. El Chalten is a hidden secret and we should all keep it that way... !!!

+CM I have just discovered this destination, after many years of dreaming about going. Only 3 hs away from the town of El Calafate, you will find heaven. The town of El Chalten and the National Park transports you to a fairy tail where all looks perfect, and almost like painted by hand. I even got so lucky as to have a close encounter with a PUMA, see the top of the Fitz Roy Mountain and the Viedma Glacier.
