ESTANCIA LA PLEGARIA

La Plegaria is 1200 hectareas of land, fully devoted to cattle breeding in an intensive form. It covers all cycles (breeding, rebreeding and fattening) using the method or “ Pastoreo Intensivo”. They have an excellent loading per hectarea. There are more than 2000 heads of cattle, most of them Aberdeen Angus black and red. It allows visitors to learn more about our farmer activities, looking around these areas noticing not only the animals and the productive activities, but also enjoying the old eucalyptus woods, the mills and all the splendor of the indigenous fauna. The sunrise and dusk of the country frame our own work in their land, because they sow pastures, maize and moha for their cattle. Also visitors can take part of different activities connected with the farm. such as weaning, vaccinations, artificial insemination, selection of future mothers and more.


Meals include a light breakfast in the morning and tea in the afternoon. But with no doubt the star is the Picada de Campo and Asado. the barbecue is a ritual because they do it with care and dedication. There are delicious dishes to accompany and enjoy the Asado, such as dressings and seasonings. Also you will be encouraged to taste our traditional drink the MATE. You could enjoy good wine of excellent and recognized wineries. 

ESTANCIAS

Fully renovated but still keeping the original colonial style of the Argentinean rural constructions. Each room is named after a different flower of the farm. 03 of the rooms have queen beds and 02 have twin beds. They all have big windows that allow you to enjoy the great views of the estancia, with fireplaces that give them a particular charm during the winter nights. The bathrooms are comfortable and modern. 


The common area and sitting room (70 sq meters) is equipped with large armchairs, library, TV and DVD. Big windows that look over the two galleries of the house. This area is ideal to meet other visitors or just relax with the music, reading, and interesting film, a good conversation while taking an aperitif.


+ Optional visit to the town of Chascomus and the Lagoon. Only 10 minutes away from the estancia, which resembles the true story of the original settlements of our country.

In the area of Chascomus, only 127 km from the city of Buenos Aires is located Estancia La Plegaria. It is easy and not expensive to get there, not like other estancias. From the downtown of Buenos Aires (07.45AM) by public long distance Bus aprox. 2 hs and then from the bus terminal by private transfer to the estancia aprox. 15 minutes. All transfers have to be pre booked and arranged. Return aprox. by (06.30PM)
