> LOCATION
Nestled within the grounds of the first and largest national park in Argentina, the Nahuel Huapi National Park, in the Northern Patagonia Lake district, Peuma Hue’s 500 acres of wilderness are located at the southern end of Gutierrez Lake, only 35 minutes south from the town of Bariloche on the paved road to El Bolson.

> DESCRIPTION
Peuma Hue “ Place of Dreams “ in native Mapuche language. Long before we stepped on its ground we had this dream of running a place where natural beauty would be the background for a healthy peaceful and meaningful life.

To the north and front of the Poplar House there is a long, deep glacial valley filled with blue waters of the Gutierrez Lake and the unique emerald-green to turquoise waters of Peuma Hue bay. To the west and close to the house, the rugged granite walls of the D’Agostini peak drop steep into the valley, filling the area with the energy only sacred places provide. To the east, the rolling hills of an ancient ranfe soothe with harmony and balance. To the south, the Continental Divide valley, divides waters into the Pacific and Atlantic oceans.

The Poplar House. Its comfort, coziness, views and decoration have a special charm that catches your eye with each details in every corner. With a total capacity of 9 people in 4 bedrooms it was conceived taking advantage of 360ª of superb landscape. With large windows all around, the house is built to enjoy spectacular views from each room. The spacious living room looks at the Gutierrez lakefront, with a more intimate space around the stone fireplace for evening snacks. The dining room, overlooking the emerald-green bay.

Watch the sunrise over the lake from the two bedrooms on the ground floor. Each is decorated in its own style with loving details in every corner: southwestern carpets, wooden furniture and Indian masks, or iron beds, old pictures and patina decorations. Take a hot relaxing bath enjoying the views of the lake from either bathroom, one in southwestern style and the other with wooden homemade appliances. WiFi service is available inside the house and around the park.

On the upper floor, there is a large bedroom with capacity for 3 people in homemade willow log beds. It overlooks three different sides: the lakefront, the Continental Divide valley and the rolling hills. The glassed celling of its bathroom allows ecstatic baths watching the stars and moonlit lake or the falling snow in winter.

The Master room, has large windows, a glassed celling, a dressing room and a balcony with stunning views over the lakefront. Its stone petroglyph decorated bathroom invites long, relaxing landscape through the large window and glassed celling. A cozy study overlooking the lakefront, the Lodge’s Reception, has a wonderful library. Two more rooms at the ground floor, completes the 4 rooms available at the Poplar House.

The Radal House. Just 250 yards from the Poplar House, across a hanging bridge. With the same comfort of the Poplar House, in a relatively smaller size. 04 double rooms with capacity of 8 guests.

The Creek Cabin. The sole building on the property when the place was bought. Beautifully recycled and decorated, this cozy log cabin has a huge stone fireplace with windows at its sides overlooking the creek. It consists of a double bedroom, a living room with 2 extra beds, a bar dividing the living room from the kitchen and a bathroom with shower. Ideal either for a couple or up to 4 guests.

The Mountain Cabin. With a capacity of 6 guests, the cabin has 2 double bedrooms, and upper loft with 2 more beds, 1 bathroom and a living room with a large stone fireplace. Large windows allow wonderful vistas all around, even from its bathroom and kitchen. Overhanging wooden deck, watching the lake.

The Non-Denominational Temple. Hard to descrine the special magic of this place by the majestic peek and surrounded by the forest. Stone, wood and glass all around, awe and inspiration, this temple is meant to honor ourselves and around in that is most valuable.

Multiple activities within the property and around the region. Numerous waterfalls and creeks, mountain trails and dirt roads, forest and the lake, steep granite walls and valley trails enable all type of outdoor activities within the property. Trekking, Guided horseback riding, Paddle in duckies and kayaks, Sail in a dinghy, Mountain ropes: high beam and tyrolean crossing rappellng, Fly fishing or Trolling, Birdwatching, Nature walks or simple relax and read under a tree or by the lake, creek and waterfalls.
