TIGRE & THE SUBURBS
05 HOURS TOUR

The northern suburb of Buenos Aires remains as one of the most attractive places to visit. We first visit San Isidro, a traditional residential area known for its streets´ beauty and its prominent mansions including those built in the seventeenth hundreds. We also visit Tigre: the impressive entrance to the Paraná delta, fully scattered by islands that can solely be accessed by water, dense vegetation and houses on pilots that can be appreciated on an hour long motor boat ride along some of its rivers. The journey ends with a stop at the local handcrafts and fruit supply market (Mercado de Frutos).

> DESCRIPTION
We have several options for this same tour. All depends on the experience you want to have and the budget your have planned...

Regular Tigre Tour / Our trip goes to the north part of the city. As we pass through the gardens and the beautiful buildings, we can see a sensational panoramic view of la Plata River, the widest river in the world. We will see Jorge Newbery Airport, River Plate World Stadium and Buenos Aires University. We will take Panamericana Freeway to make a route of 30 km until we arrive to Tigre City: the cradle of rowing. We will take the modern Panoramic Catamaran and we will enjoy the Paraná Delta. In a quiet, stable and safe route we will go into the islands and islets labyrinth full of rivers and streams. We will learn about the life in the island, recreation and aquatic sports. When we arrive we will take the famous Coast Train, which is a modern means of transport that connects the most elegant residential areas facing the River. We will descend in the Main Station: San Isidro, to enjoy the interesting places this area offers. There, we will enjoy the old part and the Cathedral. Back to Buenos Aires by bus we will see the Presidential residency placed in Olivos. Bus + Train + Catamaran: the ideal combination to enjoy the north part of Buenos Aires!!

Private Tigre Tour by Train / Travel like local people do, mingle with the local crowd. Tour begins taking the Tigre train at Retiro Station, combining 20 minutes later to the Tren de la Costa. You will get to see San Isidro, El Tigre and sail across the islands. On saturdays we also include a visit to the Flea Market - Puerto de Frutos.

Private Tigre Tour by Car / A more upscale and comfortable way to see Tigre and the Suburbs of Buenos Aires. Private car and driver, with pick up at your hotel. This option also includes de Sailing and visit to Flea Market - Puerto de Frutos on Saturdays.

Bike Tigre Tour / The Tour last approximately 4,5 - 5 hs. We ride on bike path where available avoiding traffic when possible and in non-strenuous.We ride through: Tigre, El Puerto de frutos, San Isidro, Barrancas de Acassuso, Olivos and much, much more. Tigre / Fruit Market / San Isidro / Tren de la Costa.
