FORMER MR GAY INTERNATIONAL • 2008
I was appointed the tittle of MR GAY INTERNATIONAL 2008. Event that took place in FEB 2008 at Los Angeles, California. During all that year I took the word of the international gay community worldwide as an ambassador of our rights and needs, taking part of the major events worldwide and supporting non profits organizations and events. Last December 2008 I was ask to join the new MR GAY WORLD event, and was appointed Director for South/Central America, the Caribbean and Mexico, giving me the chance to continue my duties, position to which I resign on October 2009.
CM • This was an unique experience for me, although I have been working along gay organizations regionally, previous to this tittle, Mr Gay International gave me the chance to go global. Later, I was thrilled to be part of the Board of Directors of MR GAY WORLD, helping change the paradigm that Latin America has about gay rights and lifestyle.
