Borough Food Market  |  London, UK  |  For the past two weeks, I have been searching the city to find the best food markets, you know one of those places, now very popular worldwide, where in an semi open space, local farmers and small producers present their products, most of the time being fully organic and some times very unique in either concept, presentation or flavor.  A few failed attempts, getting lost into piles of smelly vintage clothes markets with very average food, but as for today I can say that at least I have found one, the Borough Food Market in London.
Borough Market is set beneath the railway viaducts between the river Thames and Borough High Street in South East London. It sprawls around an atmospheric series of mazy streets and walkways and as well as the labyrinthine central area there are two more self contained markets. The Market is open on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, with Saturday being busiest after 11am. By tube to London Bridge Station. Check their website @ Borough Market.

Of course, me being me, I could not help stopping for a few great bubbly glasses of English Pink Sparkling wine – Camel Valley Pinot Noir Rose Brut, right on the streets of Borough Food Market. Beautiful day out, that BTW how said that London has a crapy weather ha ha ha, so far been here for two weeks and not a single rainy day, but as my friends here say “Carlos you have been VERY lucky”.
