BRUNCH at Tiong Bahru Market in Singapore  |  Singapore  |  If you are looking for a true local meal, mingling with local Singaporeans and tasting the best dishes of this region at a extremely reasonable price, then do as I did and follow the tips of locals, visit the Tiong Bahru Market. We came over at 11AM and stay there for over 2 hours. Here you will find some of the best hawkers in the city. You may get there by taxi or by the MRT Train Station Tiong Bahru.

Must try are the classic Singaporean Rice and Chicken with the three sauces of Soy + Chili + Ginger. Also the Wanton Noodle Soups, Rice Cakes and local Curry version of Empanadas. Every dish will be around USD 2 to 3.
This was all I had, … maybe not, there are a few dishes missing on this photo. I would strongly suggest you take sometime off the fancy restaurants of Singapore, which are AWESOME like Les Amis, and come to the hawkers, you will love it. Carlos Melia Luxury Travel Curator – www.carlosmelia.com
