Four Seasons Golden Triangle Tented Camp  |  Golden Triangle, Thailand  |  I have just arrived to the Four Seasons Golden Triangle Tented Camp, and I have to say that I never stop being surprised. Golden Triangle is the point where Thailand, Laos and Myanmar (Burma) come together, surrounded by the Ruak River and Maekhong River. A secluded destination to enjoy hours interacting with elephants – training and trekking along with the expert guidance of the Mahouts – in this unforgettable experience. Just 15 tented accommodations – unique in luxury, complete with hand-hammered copper bathtubs – echo the romantic spirit of 19th-century explorers. All-inclusive Four Seasons adventures cover every detail, from drinks and dining to river boat excursions to meet local hill tribes. I will be posting more since I will be staying here for two nights.

This is how I arrived to this exclusive location. You may fly into Chiang Rai International Airport (only 1 hour flight from Bangkok) and from there the hotel will pick you up and transfer for an hour to the camp area. Upon arrival you are greeted by their local staff, and invited to join them on a 10 minutes boat ride to access the camp. So far this is all I can say. Tomorrow I begin my two days Elephant training with my own personal Mahout. Crazy right !!!! Carlos Melia Luxury Travel Curator –
