Gay Weddings flash UPDATE  |  Buenos Aires, Argentina  |  No no no…. don’t worry, I am not getting married… ha ha ha…. yet. !!!!! As many of you know, I am in Buenos Aires right now, ultimating all details of a big high profile Gay Wedding, which will take place during the month of May, here outside of Buenos Aires, for a gay couple from overseas, together with their friends and families flying from all corners of the world to be present the day the say I DO. I was appointed both, their  travel agent, work I have done for the last 20 years with great pleasure, but most important and for the first time ever, wedding planner. I must say that this has been an opening eye experience. A whole new world has opened before my eyes. Argentina legalized same-sex marriage on July 22nd 2010, becoming the first country in Latin America and the second in the Americas to allow same-sex marriage nationwide. One of the most interesting facts, reason why I am doing this post, has been to receive this morning a very kind email by the reverend of ICMIglesia Comunidad Metropolitana, a church in Buenos Aires reaching out to all minorities. I contacted them a week ago on my search for a celebrant for the ceremony, to which they replied welcoming and blessing this gay wedding, and offering their services for free. It amazes me how things have changed over the years. I will be reporting more on this event during the next few days. I have now gathered a very interesting database of suppliers, organizations and services to plan your Gay Wedding here in Argentina, so feel free to contact me if you are ready to say I DO. For now… this is as much I can say and share with you all. Have a great weekend everyone. CM
