Hotel Check IN at Hotel del Casco San Isidro  |  Buenos Aires, Argentina  |  I have just Checked IN at yet, another fabulous small boutique property in Argentina, this time approximately 40 minutes away from the city of Buenos Aires, in the district of San Isidro. After a long stressing week, I decided to get away from Buenos Aires and review a few alternative, off the beaten track , options in full relax, combining tradition and culture in direct contact with nature and sophistication.

My weekend begins at Hotel del Casco in San Isidro, video of my Suite above and will continue tomorrow at La Becasina Delta Lodge to end on my last night at Estancia La Bamba de Areco. Time to unwind, enjoy some great wines, local cuisine and some horseback ridding. Back in Buenos Aires on Monday afternoon.
Hotel del Casco, was built in 1892 as a private residence. A splendid neoclassical “palazzo” that has been carefully restored and is listed as part of the city’s historic heritage. It charm and sophistication, is matched with impeccable service. Service is, as you were on your own chateaux.
20 Deluxe Rooms equipped with luxury amenities, combining traditional elements, with classic and functional decoration. Overall you will enjoy a calm, sophisticated and relaxed atmosphere. I am being hosted at a gorgeous and spacious Suite.
I enjoyed a lovely two steps dinner along with Torrontes wine under the full moon overlooking the Cathedral of San Isidro. R-E-L-A-X-I-N-G !!! at Restaurant La Cascada.
Located in San Isidro’s old quater, right across the road from the Cathedral and very close to the river “Rio de la Plata”. A preferential spot and tranquil gardens and parks. CM @ Carlos Melia Recommends
