Hotel Check IN at W Retreat Koh Samui  |  Koh Samui, Thailand  |  After a busy but amazing and successful stay in Bangkok, we flew this morning into Koh Samui, where we will stay for the next five days. Our first hotel stop is the sexy and hip W Retreat Koh Samui, located on a northern peninsula where Bo Phut and Mae Nam bays come together. After a brief intro to the property, we were Checked IN at our Beach front Villa.

Overlooking the glittering Gulf of Thailand, your Ocean Front Haven takes the treasures of Koh Samui and injects them with signature W style. Surrounded by a lush, manicured garden, it sits atop a huge wooden deck thoughtfully adorned with an oversized daybed, two lounge chairs and a wooden dining table for two. Plus, we also provide a beach bag stocked with W flip flops, a sun hat, water and more. Step through sliding glass doors and discover an indoor sanctuary resplendent in red, with custom sofa pillows, silk designer lamps, sideboards and wall-integrated shelves. Of course stunning floor-to-ceiling windows bathe the entire space in island sunshine. Settle into the plush sofa and enjoy the state-of-the-art entertainment, including a 46-inch Samsung LCD TV, DVD/CD player with W Library (available via Whatever/Whenever®) and Yamaha Wi-Fi sound dock. Or connect with the world using the High Speed Internet Access and cordless phone. Either way, Munchie Box snacks and Sweet Spot treats keep you energized.
Have already tried the Beach Lounge and Sweat Fitness Center and both were great. Tomorrow full morning taking Spa treatment at AWAY Spa. So more to come soon. Now off to get ready for Rubin Singer’s VIP Fashion Weekend. CM @ Carlos Melia Recommends
