Over the past two years. I have been lucky to visit Tunisia in two opportunities. From the very first moment, I fell in love with the country, its culture and people. Since then I have made a point to visit once a year and take friends and clients along with me.
During my first visit in 2018 I took Tunis as my headquarters, and moved around the city experiencing accommodation in three different districts: Medina of Tunis, Gammarth and Sidi Bou Said. From Tunis, I took days tours to the surrounding areas like El Jem ( for the Coliseum of El Jem, second most important Roman Coliseum in the world ) and Kairouan ( the oldest Medina in Northern Africa and the third Mosque in holiness order after Mecca and Jerusalem ).
In 2019, for my second visit, I decided to explore beyond Tunis, and onward to Sousse and Tozeur in the Sahara Desert.

Dar is a home or small boutique hotel. Similar to a Riad.
Tunis, is the capital and largest city of Tunisia. Situated on a large Mediterranean Sea gulf, Tunis is where you will start and end your exploration of this magical country. The main locations I would recommend for your stays while there, would be UNESCO World Heritage Medina of Tunis, Gammarth and Sidi Bou Said. All located approximately 25 minutes from each other, offering each totally different experiences and options. Below you can see some of my stays during my last two visits to Tunis.

The rooftop bar and restaurant will be where you will enjoy your breakfast and cocktails daily.
