I have a rule. Each year I must visit five new destinations around the world. Places I have never been before. For my 45th Birthday I gave myself a trip to Oman. A mysterious land I have always wanted to visit.

I spent a full week exploring Oman. I drove from Dubai, UAE to the Musadan Peninsula, where I stayed at the lovely Six Sense Zhighy Bay Resort. Full relaxation, with gorgeous beach line facing the Strait of Hormuz, in northern Oman. From there I drove back to Dubai, to connect with a flight on OMAN Air, non stop to Muscat, capital of Oman. Upon arrival, a 4×4 Wheel Drive Jeep was awaiting to take me to the Wahiba Sands Desert, for my overnight Desert Glamping Experience. The following day, was spent visiting and swimming in the different Wadis ( oasis ) along the way back to Muscat. My next few days, I spent enjoying the charming city of Muscat with stay at The Chedi Muscat.
