Palacio Duhau Park Hyatt Buenos Aires Check IN  |  Buenos Aires, Argentina  |  Stunning property located over the charming Alvear Avenue in the heart of the French heritage neighborhood of Recoleta in Buenos Aires. The hotel is divided in two tower, linked by both beautiful outdoor garden and an underground path turn into an art gallery. I chose to spend my stay at the 1930’s French Palace Duhau with contemporary design and décor, where belle-époque elegance meets tech-savvy modernity and comfort, marvellously enhanced by renowned Park Hyatt service and style.

My suite is classic in style with touches of modernity, featuring spacious areas, huge bathrooms as you can see on the video above and lovely open views of the outdoor garden. Located on the third floor of the Palace, with elevator access only limited to guests by electronic cards. Rooms also are complimented by Celedonio amenities, free WiFi access, cordless phones that work in any area of the hotel, butler service and daily newspaper and breakfast.  11 rooms and 12 of the establishment’s premium suites. The new annex, constructed at the opposite, eastern end of the gardens, houses the remaining 115 rooms and 27 suites.
As mentioned, the Park Hyatt Buenos Aires, is divided in two towers linked by this beautiful lush outdoor garden. Both sides of the garden offer several gastronomic venues with outdoor seating options either on the balconies on the higher lever and garden in the lower level. Particularly, I prefer the Palace section of the hotel, were you will absorb all the belle-époque allure and spirit, that has made Buenos Aires one of the most stylish cities in South America.
The Duhaus – prominent Argentinean landowners – commissioned architect León Dourge for the design of a new residence adjacent to the old Hume house, a Tudor Revival mansion designed by architect Carlos Ryder built in 1890 with landscapes by noted Charles Thays. Inspired in the Château du Marais near Paris, the resulting Neoclassical palace and its guesthouse were completed in 1932. (source wikipedia). Today and since 2006, this stunning property is flawlessly run and manage by Hyatt Hotels Group, which was formerly located at what today is the Fours Seasons Buenos Aires.

What better way to start the week than a Spa Gift certificate by the Spa at the Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Buenos Aires. I will let you know my comments once I am done with it, but I can tell you that the hotel hosts one to the best indoor pools in the city of Buenos Aires, 25 mts long with the particularity that the water is treated with an ozone system. The fitness center is very well equipped with cardio machines, fitness and free weights.
I will be spending 3 days here at the Park Hyatt Buenos Aires and at the Palacio Duhau, so expect more updates and post on this fantastic property. As I always say Been There Done That, experiential travel perfected.  Carlos Melia Luxury Travel Curator –
