Quai de Valmy flowing to the Seine   |  Paris, France  |  Been to Paris over 15 times, therefore I have decided that this visit will be different. I want to really see Paris, beyond the tourist point eyes. Seat at the cafes on the streets, and while zipping a glass of rose, see  see life unfold before me. Will I succeed….? today on my first day, don’t ask me how, but so far I managed to stayed away from the Eiffel Tower and the Arch of Triumph, true that the weather did not help much either. We will see how it progresses. Back to Quai de Valmy, I guess I would like to say that every Quai lead to the River Seine.

Paris has a very charming set of canals. locks and underground waterways that extend 81 miles running from Ile Saint Louis close to Notre Dame. Enjoy the view.
But that it now all. Keep flowing along the canals and by the Boulevard Richard Lenoir, to find the Street Fruit, Fish, Meat and Cheese Market. The Marche Richard Lenoir. I came on Friday afternoon, but I head that the best time to visit are either Thursdays or Sundays. The tree-lined boulevard that separates the Marais from the Bastille, great spot to see local Parisians socialize as well as shop for foods such as fish, meat, bread and cheese.
More photos of my afternoon walking along the canals, markets and Boulevard Richard Lenoir. Enjoy !!! CM @ Carlos Melia Recommends
