Suvarnabhumi Airport Express Train to Bangkok  | Bangkok, Thailand    |  The best and fastest way to link Suvarnabhumi International Airport and Bangkok City Center, without a doubt is the Airport Express Service. Only in 18 minutes you will be arriving into either Makassan Station or Phaya Thai Station in Bangkok City Center. In only 18 minutes non-stop and in very comfortable cars, I went from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Makassan. Although you must be aware that trains run every 25 minutes so keep that in mind, not to have to wait like I did. There is an alternative cheaper options, the City Line commuter rail, which services with 8 stations.
Regular price for the one way ticket is TBH 150 (approx. USD 3), but they have been running a promotion for TBH 90. The City Line Commuter is in between TBH 15 to 45. Once you arrive to Makassan Station, you will be blocks away from Petchaburi Blue Line Subway Station, which will take you to the main areas and hotels in Sukumvit and Lumphini. (TBH – Thai Baht)
Get the 3 Days Pass for TBH 230 (USD 8) with unlimited rides on the MRT Network. FYI this excludes the Sky Train. But it is a great value for those, like me, looking forward to extensively exploring the city. Of course, you can still always rent a Taxi or Limo Service, but be aware to the rush hours and heavy traffic. Carlos Melia Luxury Travel Curator –
