I arrived to Aguas Calientes onboard the Hiram Bingham luxury train, after a four hours ride from Poroy Train Station, close to Cusco.
From Aguas Calientes is where you will be taking your bus to/from Machu Picchu. Twenty five minutes ride over stunning landscape separate this town to the citadella of Machu Picchu.

The town is LOVELY. You can see the during the las four years, it has grown beyond its limits, but still remains true to its heritage. I was kind of bummed that I was not able to spend more time there or even overnight, but at least I had an hour to explore before boarding once again my Belmond train, this time to Ollantaytambo, my next destination on my Peruvian experience.
