Are you into organic food and farms at all? The you must take your Saturday morning off and come to The Neighbourgoods Market at The Old Biscuit Mill. A must are the thin crust pizzas, the paella and my favorite the Cider. If you have a palate for innovative products, then the Mill Market is just for you.

If you want to see lots of gays eating and drinking, for a change, then The Neighbourgoods Market is the perfect Saturday morning spot in Cape Town. Both locals and tourists. In this case my three local friends and partners in crime, (from left to right) David Ryan – owner of Rhino Safaris Africa, and long time friends Charl and Andre. Pizza and bubbles…. how gay is that hhmmmm…
My choice instead was the Paella and Cider. Yeah right as I need to keep eating and drinking. Anyhow, it was GREAT. !!!! and all the boys were around trying to get a bite out of my plate. Back off everyone. !!! For more info on The Old Biscuit Mill please check there official website @ The Old Biscuit Mill, 373 – 375 Albert Road, Woodstock, Cape Town, South Africa – Every Saturday 09h00 – 14h00
The Neighbourgoods Market is an independent initiative founded in 2006 by entrepreneurs Justin Rhodes and Cameron Munro, whose aim is to revive and reinvent the Public Market as a civic institution. This award-winning market features over 100 specialty traders every Saturday, creating a weekly platform for local farmers, fine-food purveyors, organic merchants, bakers and distributors, grocers, mongers, butchers, artisan producers, celebrated local chefs, and micro enterprises. The Neighbourgoods Market is housed in an old sky-lit Victorian warehouse and courtyard at the Old Biscuit Mill in the emerging industrial neighbourhood of Woodstock, Cape Town.
