When are you foreseeing your hotel opening back for tourists ?
The Maison will welcome guests again from August 15th, 2020

What measures have you taken to reopen post COVID-19 ?
Please address sterilization measures, security, mandates on staff and guests testing, transportation etc.
The well-being and health of our Guests and Ambassadeurs is the key point of the initiatives put in place by our Maison to ensure the safety and peace of mind at all time. Combination of protocols from Health Protection Agency of Maldives and Cheval Blanc Randheli guidelines were implemented into respective departments.    

Some of the most notable measures include:
> Training of all teams on precautionary measures and new protocols
> Respect of physical social distancing
> Wearing of masks by all Ambassadeurs
> Arrival kit with the essentials to ensure the safe way to Maison is to be given to each guest upon meeting with our Ambassadeur in the Airport Lounge
> Personalization of procedures, adaptable to individual requirements
> Strict protocol of disinfecting living spaces, air purification and increased frequency of cleaning and disinfecting of all public spaces using certified products and equipment

It goes without saying that our teams remain entirely open to any specific needs of our Guests, adapting accordingly within the limits of safety measures.

How do you plan to enforce these measures and how will you ensure compliance ?
Art-de-Recevoir is one of the core values of the Cheval Blanc identity. Today, welcoming our guests means taking care of them so that they can stay in the Maison with peace of mind. All our Ambassadeurs are trained to apply these measures.

How will these measures affect the overall regular stay and experience ?
The adopted measures will be discretely implemented by our teams, to avoid any inconveniences for our Guests.

Booking & Payment Flexibility Terms and Conditions during and after COVID-19 time.
We have updated our terms and conditions policy to prevent the uncertainties of the current situation. Each reservation will be treated on a case-by-case basis whenever deemed required. Flexibility and understanding will play a central role in the booking process. Cancellation policy has been adjusted by needs of our Guests and remains flexible up to 15 days prior arrival.

Will you be offering any special promotions, packages and/or value adds?
We will offer our guests the same services and amenities as always including VIP amenities for booking directly with you, as our Preferred Cheval Blanc Partner.
Our new Homecoming Offer crafted specifically for reopening of the Maison provides guest with variety of benefits. It will be applied to any stays between 15th August and 30th November 2020 and for bookings made prior to 27th November 2020.

How will you plan to maintain a level social distancing ?
By the nature of the Maison the possibility of exclusive privacy is guaranteed for our Guests. The interaction between Guests and Ambassadeurs will be minimized.

Tell us about the current quarantine and restrictions within your destination ?
The Maldives borders has been opened on 15th July 2020. Firstly, country opened its borders for all nationalities providing a free 30-day tourist visa on arrival. No quarantine measures are subjected, no requirements for submitting any medical test results for entry upon arrival to Maldives. However, travelers presenting with symptoms of COVID-19 upon arrival will be subjected to a PCR test at the traveller’s cost. Additionally, local health authorities may conduct random testing, at no cost to travelers.

Please add any additional information you believe would be helpful to raise travelers trust levels in order to visit ?
To ensure that all guests staying at the island are COVID-19 free you may choose one of the two options hereby:

Option 1: Undergo a polymerase chain reaction nasal test (commonly known as PCR) no more than 3 days prior to arrival to the Maldives to be presented upon arrival at our Maison. This will significantly reduce your chances of, in case of positive testing upon arrival, find yourself confined in the Maldives for 14 days. Upon arrival to your villa our House Doctor will then simply proceed to a rapid test (saliva or finger blood as per your preference) to ensure you have not been exposed during your journey to the Maldives.

Option 2: Undergo a polymerase chain reaction nasal test (commonly known as PCR) upon arrival at your villa, performed by our House Doctor and sent to testing to a nearby island. You will be invited to remain in the comfort of your villa until the results are rendered (up to 72 hours depending on volume of tests being performed)

Indeed, this period allowed us to embellish our Maison and to prepare fully for a new season.

What is your favorite feature about your property and destination that you wish to share with my clients/readers ?
Should I need to pick one feature, I would definitely highlight the spectacular sense of place. All Villas of our Maison feature spacious lavish interiors with beautifully appointed living rooms, dream bathrooms and voluminous outdoor space with 12.5-metre-long infinity pool.
Maldives has been always a dream destination with turquoise Oceanic waters and magical atmosphere of tropics. Cheval Blanc Randheli is the hushed heaven of the Maldives.
