Willoughby & Co. Sushi in Cape Town  |  Cape Town, South Africa  |  I know, you’re going to think, Carlos have you lost your mind, have you gone crazy… dinning Sushi at a shopping center? Having Nobu right steps away from your suite at the One & Only in Cape Town.  Well trusting the judgement and recommendations of several of my local friends, I venture into dinner at the V&A Waterfront Shopping Center, and trust me it has been way better than expected. If you like Sushi as much as I do, enjoy tasting new options and care more about the food than the location or venue, then Willoughby & Co. Sushi will greatly surprise you.
You have to trust the locals. Away from being a tourist waterhole Willoughby & Co. Sushi in Cape Town ranks high as some of the best Sushi I have had in a long time. Must try are their signature Rainbow Reloaded, Tempura Prawn Roll and the Spider Roll. Be prepared to wait in line for at least 15 to 20 minutes, they are very popular in town. Not fancy, or trendy or romantic, just and simply amazing Sushi. CM
